RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Roberta "Bobbie" L. Marek to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Roberta "Bobbie" L. Marek, Age 63. Born February 25, 1954, at rest June 18, 2017.

WHEREAS, Roberta "Bobbie" L. Marek, nee Cummings, age 63; beloved wife of William "Billy" J. Marek; loving mother of Jamie (Shane) Cruz and Patrick Marek; cherished grandmother of Kaela, Alexa, and Brayden Cruz; dearest daughter of the late Robert and Rose Cummings; dear sister of Diane (Daniel) Curtis, Karen (Bob) Quinn, and Robert (Patti) Cummings; fond aunt, cousin and friend of many. Roberta "Bobbie" L. Marek leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-eighth day of June, 2017, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Roberta "Bobbie" L. Marek and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Roberta "Bobbie" L. Marek.
