Honoring the Service ofthe Veterans of Ruth Shriman House

WHEREAS, Ruth Shriman House has a uniquely large population of twelve veterans in the 46th Ward; and,

WHEREAS, these veterans have collectively dedicated over thirty years of military service; and,

WHEREAS, these veterans have served in three ofthe United States' six branches of the military including the Army, Air Force, and Marines; and,

WHEREAS, November 11th, 2022 is Veteran's Day in the United States; and therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor, and Members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago, honor the twenty two year service of Randolph Johnson who passed away on June 26th, 2022; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor, and Members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago, honor the service of Anthony Adent, Quentin Cannady, Kevin Deveaux, William Ersfeldt, Herbert Fritsher, Jesus Gomez, Jessie Hill, Vincent Howard, Louis Kelly, William McNamee, Glen Tumaeder, and Brad White.
