MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR NICHOLAS MARQUISOS
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Nicholas Marquisos on March 03, 2018 at the age of 90; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born on April 27, 1927, Nicholas will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives and treasured friends. Nicholas leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love and
WHEREAS, Nicholas touched the lives of all who knew him through his kindness, generosity and vivacious spirit. He will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this twenty eighth day of March, 2018, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Nicholas Marquisos; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution are presented to the family of Mr. Nicholas Marquisos as a sign of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
