RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Joseph N. Mongardo Jr. has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 79 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Joseph N, Mongardo Jr.; beloved husband of Sandra nee Woodard; loving father of Joe (Stephanie), Michelle (Nick), Marinopoulos, Joette (Chris) Miller and Gina (Scott) Massey; cherished grandfather of Nicky, Joey, Mikey, Anthony, Rudi, Alicia, Marissa, Britt, Ashley and best bud Jax; adored great-grandfather of 8; devoted son ofthe late Joseph N. Sr and Josephine; dear brother Catherine Martin, Georgeanne Stupay and the late Blanche Sulka. Joseph was a proud Oniac board member; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Joseph to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Joseph N. Mongardo Jr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joseph N. Mongardo Jr.
