MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called to his eternal reward Anthony Todd Daniels, a beloved husband, father, and son, on March 13, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Todd Daniels started life on October 27, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois as the son of Henry and Lottie Daniels. He was educated in the Chicago Public Schools System and graduated from Harlan High School in 1970; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Todd Daniels married Linda Collins and their union was blessed with two children, Jason Darnell and Renelle Nicole. He worked in the automotive painting industry as an award winning sales representative and trainer for PPG more than 15 years. Todd grew up with a passion for cars and loved going to drag strip races with his friends. Additionally, he was well-known for his sense of humor and enjoyed being the longtime coach of the Country Club Hills girl's softball team, the Jaguars; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Todd Daniels leaves behind to mourn his loss and celebrate his memory, his wife, Linda, and his children Jason Darnell and Renelle Nicole as well as a host friends and relatives; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable Anthony Beale, Alderman of the 9th Ward, has informed this august body of the passing of Anthony Todd Daniels; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council gathered this 24th Day of July, 2013 AD, do hereby express our sincerest sorrow upon learning of the passing of this beloved citizen and extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Anthony Todd Daniels.
