RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Michael J. "Beagles" Singleton has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 54; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Michael J. "Beagles" Singleton; Devoted father of Erin (Michael) Power. Loving "Papa" of Michael, Marty and Molly Power. Cherished son of the late Irving (late Barbara) Titsworth. Dearest brother of Kathy (late Martin) Shannon, Pamela Cambria, David (Marybeth) and the late Brian Singleton. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Michael J. Singleton was a lifelong Canaryville resident and a member of the "Mudrats" football team; and
WHEREAS, Michael J. "Beagles" Singleton will be sorely missed by his many friends, especially his cohorts at "Kellys Tavern",where the elite meet; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Michael J. Singleton to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of January 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michael J. Singleton and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael J. Singleton.
