ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Section 2 through 5 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-022 (37.18), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of July 7, 1999 at pages 6903 through 6904, with the following underscored text:
4-60-022 (37.18) On North Avenue, from Laramie Avenue to Long Avenue.
SECTION 3. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (37.12), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of February 11, 2009 at pages 55014 through 55015, with the following underscored text:
4-60-023 (37.12) On the northeast side of West Grand Avenue, from North Mango Avenue to North McVicker Avenue.
SECTION 4. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (37.16), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of February 11, 2009 at pages 55015 through 55017, with the following underscored text:
4-60-023 (37.16) On West North Avenue, from North Lavergne Avenue to North Laramie Avenue.
SECTION 5. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (37.39), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of February 10, 2010 at pages 84637 through 84639, with the following underscored text:
4-60-023 (37.39) On North Cicero Avenue, from West North Avenue to West Grand Avenue.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
