IN TRIBUTE TO QUEEN ESTHER TRAMBLE KINDLE


WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom, granted eternal rest to Queen Esther Tramble Kindle on July 8, 2013; and
WHEREAS, This august body has been notified of Mrs. Queen Esther Tramble Kindle's passing by the Honorable Anthony Beale, Alderman of the 9th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Kindle was a kind and gentle woman who will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those whose lives she touched in countless ways; and
WHEREAS, Born on September 10,1960 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Ella Mae Haymon and Cornelius Tramble, Mrs. Kindle suffered the loss of her mother at age 5 and her father at age 13 whereupon she relocated to St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Central High School; and
WHEREAS, As a volunteer for the re-election campaign of Mayor Harold Washington, Mrs. Kindle met her beloved husband Aldophus (AI) Kindle and with this union they became a blended family with Queen's children Surrebea Tramble and Darnell Johnson, and Al's daughter Kamilah Kindle. Born into the union of Queen and AI were two children: a daughter, Chantia Kindle and a son, Atukwe Kindle; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Kindle was a dedicated worker who volunteered and worked and for many years with the Chicago Housing Authority delivering outreach services to children and families in public housing, and at the Express Bus Company and the Chicago Transit Authority; and
WHEREAS, Queen Esther Tramble Kindle leaves a host of loved ones to cherish her distinguished life and legacy including her husband AI Kindle, daughters Surrebea Tramble and Chantia Kindle, Kamilah Kindle, sons Darnell Johnson and Atukwe Kindle; Sisters Annie Tramble, Princetta Tramble, Telecia Tramble and a brother Troy Tramble; grandchildren Mariah Perrin, Tyronnesha Watson, Daniel Roberts, Jr. and Adrian Johnson; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends; now, therefore,
