City Council March 24th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Diana R. Rosa has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 78 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Diana R. Rosa, beloved wife of Benito Rosa Ramirez; devoted mother of June A. Rosa Canales (Leo), Mary J. Rosa, Miriam R. Rosa Moroney (Patrick), Mary D. Rosa Hernandez, and Benny Rosa, Jr.; loving grandmother of Leo, late K.C., Elisa, and Fabi Canales, Camilo Vega and Kristina Rodriguez, Gabriel Mota and Alfonso Hernandez, and Aidan Patrick Rosa; dear great grandmother of Sadie Canales, James Canales, Victoria Canales, Isabel Canales, and Imani Rosa; and
WHEREAS, Diana was a proud forty year resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Diana to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty fourth of March 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Diana R. Rosa and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
