RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called John Young to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, The beloved son of Robert and Janice Young (nee Ostrom); loving brother of Cynthia (Lawrence) Sammon, Karen (Peter) Melone, Stephen, Robert (Kathy) and Thomas Young.; godson and nephew of Richard Ostrom; kind uncle to Leah, Frank, Adam, Alec, Caitlyn, Justin (godson), Alyssa, Taylor, and Tyler and nephew and cousin to many, John Young leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this eighth day of June, 2011, hereby express our sorrow on the death of John Young and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of John Young.
