Substitute Ordinance
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 10-20-430 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Director of the Department of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to exempt A. Ashland Lock Company at 2510 N Ashland from requiring barriers as a prerequisite to prohibit alley ingress and egress to parking facilities for premise address.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Transportation and Public Way begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body pass An ordinance authorizing and directing the Department of Transportation to exempt A. ASHLAND LOCK COMPANY from the provisions requiring barriers as a prerequisite to prohibit alley ingress and/or egress to the parking facilities located at 2510 North Ashland Avenue. This ordinance was referred to the Committee on July 30, 2014.
This recommendation was concurred unanimously by a viva voce vote of the members of the Committee with no dissenting vote.
