WHEREAS, Rhoda M. Morris has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Rhoda M. Morris; Beloved daughter of the late Richard and Grace Morris; dear sister of Bernadine (Jim) Vysoky, Mary (Errole) Ross, Richard Morris, Kristine (the late Frank) Juarez, Grace (Tony) Thompson, Daniel Morris, Margaret (Randy) Denton, Michael (Denise) Morris, the late Theresa, and the late Thomas Morris; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; cousin and friend of many; special friend to Kitty Morris; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Rhoda M. Morris to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twelfth day of December 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Rhoda M. Morris and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rhoda M. Morris.
