WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called August A. Olivo to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, August A. Olivo; US Veteran AAFWWII; beloved husband of the late Annette nee FJattaglia; loving Father of Maryanne (Mike) Filippini, Frank (Karen) and August (Nancy); cherished grandfather of Michael (Dena), Timothy (Rachel), Frank, Dana (Patrick), Anthony, Andrea and Nicholas (Katie); adoring great-grandfather of Alexia, Madison, Tyler, Nicole, Kristen, August and Jonathan; friend of many. August was a member of American Legion Post 600. August A. Olivo leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of November, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of August A. Olivo and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
