SALUTE TO THE TRIANGLE PLUMBER'S CLUB
 
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that the members of the Chicago City Council hereby recognizes of an organization that serves as a model for us all - The Triangle Plumbers Club; and
 
WHEREAS, The Triangle Plumbers Club is a group of forty African American men and women who are dedicated members ofthe Plumbers Union Local 130; and
 
WHEREAS, Since its founding, one of the Triangle Plumbers Club's purpose is the rebuilding of communities by donating their time and plumbing skills free of charge to the poor within various neighborhoods. Their efforts can be witnessed in the Englewood, Lawndale, Avalon Park and Washington Heights communities; and
 
WHEREAS, For the past several years, the President, Raymond D. Campbell, Vice-President, Jones L. Richmond and the active and retired members of the Triangle Plumbers Club have made donations of toys and coats that have brightened the holiday season for many who are less fortunate and needy. The Triangle Plumbers Club continues to go beyond the call of citizenship and it sets a high benchmark for all persons and groups to aspire to; now, therefore,
 
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this tenth day of December 2014 A.D. do hereby salute the Triangle Plumbers Club members and extend our heartfelt appreciation for their years of dedicated and praiseworthy service to this city's grateful communities.
