Resolution

Whereas, Maura Wicklin departed this present life on August 1, 2014; and

Whereas, The City Council has been notified of her passing by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward; and

Whereas, Maura Wicklin was a longtime resident of the Edgewater Glen community and St. Gertrude's Parish; and

Whereas, Maura Wicklin was the loving mother of Michael (Irene), Patricia, Timothy (Eileen), and Jennifer (Jim) Tianis; proud grandmother of Lauren, Kevin, Sarah, Andrew, Eleni, Dimitri, Niki, and Alex; fond sister of John, and the late Jim, and Patricia Swanson. Now therefore,

Be it resolved, that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this day of December 10, 2014, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Maura Wicklin and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be it further resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Maura

Wicklin.
