RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Eudocia Garcia has been called lo eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 92 to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe I Ith Ward; and

WHEREAS, Loving mother of Irma Bautista, Gilberto Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Ernesto Martinez; cherished grandmother of 7; adored great-grandmother of 14; devoted daughter of Miguel and Concepcion Garcia; and

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Eudocia to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her lo enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fourteenth of September 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Eudocia Garcia and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11th Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eudocia Garcia.
