Resolution: James "Jimbo" Dooley
WHEREAS, The members ofthe City Council of Chicago wish to recognize the many accomplishments and the passing of James "Jimbo" Dooley; and
WHEREAS, James Dobley departed this present life on Sunday, February 27, 2022; and
WHEREAS, The City Council lias been notified of his passing by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dooley was a beloved uncle, brother, and son; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dooley was the proprietor of The Lamp Post; and
WHEREAS, He graced all who knew him with his humor, and was never lost in a crowd; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dooley shared his humor through his creative and unexpected gifts; and
WHEREAS, He was a beloved parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Parish; and
BE IT RESOLVED. That we, the Mayor and the members oflhe Cily Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this day of March" 2.3rd, 2022 do hereby express our sorrow-on the death of Mr. Dooley, and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
UE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies ofthis resolution be printed to the family of Mr. Dooley as a token of our sympathy.
