RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, On January 30,1960 Marion and Joan Valle become united in their love and commitment to each other at St. Valentine Catholic Church in Peru, Illinois; and,

WHEREAS, In the years their love has grown so has their family which includes Mark, Marcey Jo, Michell and Melissa; and,

WHEREAS, Marion and Joan Valle have been integral members of the historic Brighton Park community on the city's southwest side; and,

WHEREAS, This blessed Valle union exemplifies the virtues of solid family values rooted in love & commitment, and should serve as an example to newlyweds the city over; and,

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that Aid. Edward Burke and Aid. Raymond Lopez, both of whom have served as alderman to the Marion & Joan, hereby inform the City Council of Chicago of the Valle's 60^th Wedding Anniversary; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this Nineteenth day of February 2020, do hereby express our congratulations and best wishes to Marion & Joan Valle on their 60^th Wedding Anniversary; and,
