RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING FABULOUS FREDDIE'S EATERY ON THEIR 25th ANNIVERSARY
WHEREAS, Fabulous Freddie's Italian Eatery will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their'opening with a celebration on August Saturday, August 8, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Fabulous Freddie's is located at 701 West 31st Street, in the heart of the 11th Ward Community; and
WHEREAS, Owners Fred Bertucci and his wife, Denise Passarelli Bertucci, sought their dream of operating their own restaurant together after many years of working in the industry and they decided to try it on their own; and
WHEREAS, Fred and Denise had worked on perfecting his Italian recipes before actually opening in order to offer quality, delicious, homemade Italian foods; and
WHEREAS, Once they were confident in their product, the restaurant had opened with tremendous success due to their determination, hard work, and commitment to the project, along with the assistance of their family members who had helped them through the growing pains; and
WHEREAS, After some growth glitches, they are now a thriving successful staple in the Bridgeport community with customers, not only from the community but, throughout the city of Chicago; and
WHEREAS, To this day, Freddie, Denise, and their daughters Christie, Stephanie, and Brittany, along with many other family members, keep it a family-owned business in our community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, do hereby congratulate Fabulous Freddie's Eatery on their 25th Anniversary, with best wishes for continues success in the 11th Ward Community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be made available for presentation at their 25th Anniversary party on August 8, 2015.
