RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Aracelis Luna to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Aracelis Luna nee Padilla, age 79. Loving wife of the late Gertrudis. Loving mother of Carlos (Kimberly) Luna, Armando (Christine) Luna and Migdalia (Kenneth) Luna Lipke. Find grandmother of Cecila Luna, Carlos Luna Jr., Stephanie Pearl Luna, Juan Luna, and Amanda Lipke.   Dear daughter of the late Nemensio and Zolia Padilla (nee Sepulveda). Dear sister of Leo Padilla, Petra Padilla, Dolores Sanchez, the late Faustino Padilla and the late Victor Sepulveda. Aracelis Luna leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of March, 2015, do hereby express our sorrow on the death Aracelis Luna and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Aracelis Luna.
