RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Donald Mahoney has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Donald Mahoney, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Bresnahan Mahoney; loving father of Christina (Amanda Martinez) Mahoney and SSgt. Paul (Diana) Mahoney, U.S. Army; loving grandfather of Annmarie, Angelina, Jordan, Michael, and Paul Mahoney, Jr.; dear son of the late John F. and Betty Hanes Mahoney, Sr.; loving brother of John F. (Lydia) Mahoney, Jr. and Michael (Patti) Mahoney; dear uncle and friend of many.; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Donald to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this nineteenth of February 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Donald Mahoney and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the familyrof Donald Mahoney.
