RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC) will officially celebrate its Centennial Anniversary on June 14, 2016, in Chicago; and
WHEREAS, The management of human resources is vitally important to meet the current and future business needs of Chicago companies as they work to develop effective workplace solutions; and
WHEREAS, Human resource professionals in the Chicago region provide essential services to area employers for business success, including retaining top talent and addressing their companies' needs in a rapidly globalized workforce; and
WHEREAS, The Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the oldest and largest human resources organization in the United States, is the only association of its type to reach the 100-year milestone; and
WHEREAS, Human Resources Management Association of Chicago is the nation's only regionally-based, independent human resources organization, where membership mirrors the region's business community in company structure, reach and industry sectors served; and
WHEREAS, The Human Resources Management Association of Chicago maintains global impact by providing conveniently hosted professional development and networking opportunities for local employees that result in connections throughout the world; and
WHEREAS, The Human Resources Management Association of Chicago prides itself on being the professional home of human resource leaders throughout the region, regardless of tenure, title or job function, and includes 700 member organizations and more than 7,500 individual members: now, therefore
