City Council November 20th, 2019
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, William Albert "Wild Bill" Kramer Sr has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 73 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Bill was born in Chicago, lived in Romeoville, and moved to Florida 39 years ago, but his roots are in Chicago, He was a PROUD member of the Turtle Club; "Are you a Turtle? You bet your sweet butt I am!"; and
WHEREAS, Bill is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Debbie (Michael Bo) Secor, son David (Charlene), 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, his brother Raymond (Betty) along with numerous nieces and nephews; Predeceased by his father Raymond Sr., his mother Mary, sons Robert, Billy Jr., and Kenneth; His granddaughter Pauline, brother John (Darlene), and sister Marylou Copeland as well; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth of November 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of William Albert Kramer Sr and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of William Albert Kramer Sr.
