WShXSlEJtlS, the December body will be informed ofthe passing of Jeffery "The Governor" Watkins by the Honorable Stephanie D. Coleman, Alderman ofthe 16^th Ward;

WM&StCdS, Heaven has added an angel as Jeffery served as a shining light for his family and brought joy to everyone he encountered. He has given us the lasting gift of a beautiful life and blessed our memories forever; and,

W3t£M&IS, to the family of Jeffery, we wish you peace, comfort and encouragement when facing the days ahead. Cherish the love and memories that Jeffery has shared with us all, and be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you; and

BE IT RESOLVED, on this eighth day of January 2022 that this Aldermanic Proclamation is presented to the Watkins Family, do hereby extend our most heartfelt condolences; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this proclamation presented to the City of Chicago Mayor and City Council as a sign of honor, gratitude and respect.
