RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called George J. Sarna to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, George J. Sarna, age 88. Beloved husband of Emilia (nee Palenik). Loving father of John (Deborah), Christine and Charles. Dear grandfather of Christopher (Caitlyn), Julianne (Ken) Russell, Bradley and Kathryn. Great-grandfather of Kenneth, Alexis and Koryn Russell. Also many nieces and nephews. George J. Sarna leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this seventeenth day of June , 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of George J. Sarna and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
