Memorial Resolution
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members of this Chamber learned of the death of Edward J. Perchess; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Edward Perchess was a World War II Army Vet, who took his sense of purpose and service into his civilian life as a proud member of the Northwest Lions Club and the Sokol Community Center.
WHEREAS, Edward Perchess was the beloved husband of Theresa nee Fuit; loving father of Claudia (Earl) Thunberg, Jeffrey (Janet), and Edward; devoted grandfather of Jessica, Michael, Michele, Matthew, Nicole, Emily, Peter (Sherri) Thurnberg, and Pamela McCutcheon; great-grandfather of Nova, Lola, Tyler and Joshua; and an uncle and friend of many; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this fifth day of November, 2014, do hereby express our sorrows on the death of Edward J. Perchess, and express to his family and friends our deepest sympathies; and.
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward J. Perchess, as a token of our honor, love, and respect.
