RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Gregory F. Ramirez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Gregory F. Ramirez; Retired CPD; Loving father of Anthony (Christine) Ramirez, Alyssa (Kyle Fuller) Ramirez and the late David Ramirez; cherished grandfather of Parker Ramirez; devoted son of the late George Ramirez and the late Juanita Scarlata; dear brother of Cynthia (the late Larry), Mario (Kari), Vince "Punky" (Marianne); step-brother of Christopher and Timothy; former husband and friend of Andrea Alinovich; fond uncle and friend to many; and

WHEREAS, Gregory F. Ramirez was a Chicago Police Officer for 23 years and a Trustee for the Village of Lyons, Illinois; and

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this thirteenth of March 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Gregory F. Ramirez and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
