RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Thomas F. OT-Iara has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 85 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS. The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Nicole T. Lee. Alderwoman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Thomas F. O'Hara. retired CFD. Loving husband of Lenore Joyce O'Hara and the late LaVerne O'Hara, nee Smith; Beloved father of Maureen (Jack, retired CFD) O'Rourke, the late Thomas O'Hara, Jr Kevin (Ann) O'Hara. CFD, Susan (Bob) Patton, and Sharyn (Dan, CFD) Byrne; Cherished grandfather of Jim (Tamara), Jack (Carly), Eryn (Jack), Jacqueline (Joe). Elizabeth, Kevin, Emily, Brendan, Will. Kiara. Makayla. and Teagan; Great-grandfather of eleven; Dear brother of Mary (the late Harry) Berge, James (Elsie), and the late Jack (the late Agnes); Uncle, cousin, and friend to many; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Thomas to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now. therefore
BE IT RESOLVED. That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth of July 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Thomas O'Hara and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and.
