MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Albert G. Bradtke, Jr., born on February 10, 1941, was called by God to his eternal reward on November 2, 2012, at the age of 71; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Albert Bradtke, Jr. was an active and vital member of his community. The beloved husband of fifty years to Juanita, nee Abalos; loving father of Susan (William) Dooley, Gregory and Amy (John) Steier; cherished grandfather of Stefanie, Caitlyn, Ryan, Declan, Jack, Liv, Leia and Liesl; treasured great-grandfather of Owen and Oliver; fond brother of Mark (Cindy) Bradtke and the late Michaelynn, Albert leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Albert Bradtke will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twelfth day of December 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Albert Bradtke, Jr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Albert G. Bradtke, Jr.
