RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called Natividad Ruiz Acevedo to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Qulnn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Natividad Ruiz Acevedo passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 with her family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Julio Acevedo. Loving mother of Julio (Jane) Acevedo, Saul (Alicia) Acevedo, Eli Acevedo, Natividad Acevedo and Mijdred (Norbert) Rivera. Proud grandmother of Miguel Acevedo, Bernadette (Zach) Bieiecki, Gordan (fiancee Mayra) Acevedo, Nicholas Acevedo, Lafayette Bernard-Acevedo, Anela (Curtis) Davis, the late Mildred Acevedo, Eli (Rebecca) Acevedo, Adelia (Adam) Gilbertson, Joseph Barnett, Charnltra Barnett, Natividad Barnett, Cory Rivera, Nikki Rivera (fiancee Deyna Barnett) and Alexandria Rivera. She will be missed by her many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews; and
WHEREAS; Natividad Ruiz Acevedo leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty fourth day of March 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death Natividad Ruiz Acevedo and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Natividad Ruiz Acevedo.
