WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Philip J. Pieczynski to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Philip J. Pieczynski, age 57, passed away on January 28, 2017. Beloved husband of Juanita Pieczynski (nee Wiencek). Loving father of Melissa, Raymond, Lucas, and Heather. Cherished son of Virginia and the late Raymond Pieczynski. Dearest brother of the late Susan (Al) Cambron, Cynthia (Henry) Siergiej, David (Linda) Pieczynski, Beverly (Tom) Petraitis, and Christopher Pieczynski. Fond son-in-law of Jean Wiencek. Survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dedicated employee of Motorola for over 30 years. Phil impacted many lives through his involvement with St. Daniel the Prophet Parish and Clear Ridge Baseball Communities. Philip J. Pieczynski leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-ninth day of March, 2017, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Philip J. Pieczynski and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
