RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Gene Lee has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 76 to
his eternal reward; and - r; ~":V' ,
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D.Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Son of Joe Lee and Horn Shee Mae Lee, Dear brother of Lillian (Gand W.) Lee,
uncle of Carol Lee (Michael Cortopassi) and Brian Lee, Great uncle of Olivia and Celia
Cortopassi;and . ■ : — • ' ' -i,
WHEREAS, Gene was a US Army Vietnam veteran; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Gene to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore <
; BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this sixteenth of December 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Gene Lee and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and ;
