RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, William E. Pfeifer has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age : of 71 to his eternal reward; and ~
WHEREAS, The Chicago.Ctiy Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS.William E. Pfeifer, devoted father of William (Karen) Pfeifer and Susan Pfeifer, loving grandfather of Logan Pfeifer; beloved son ofthe late Alvin and Lorraine Davies Pfeifer; fond brother of Robert Pfeifer (deceased), Karen Zalewski, and Mary Ellen (William) Howell; dear uncle of many. Bill was an avid dog lover whose cherished companion, Lola recently passed away; and
WHEREAS, William a lifetime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Italy; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared William to his family . members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, Aerefore ™ !
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this ninth of September 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of William E. Pfeifer and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
