ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. Section 17-12-1005 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underscored, as follows:

17-12-1005 Additional Standards for Specific Types of Signs.

17-12-1005-D High-Rise Building Signs.

(Omitted text is unaffected by this ordinance)

10. No high-rise building sign shall be illuminated between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00

a.m.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten days after passage and publication.
