RESOLUTION
2qjr^fJ^Ej^E^vS_PCathieen Gomez has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11 Ward; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen "Kathy" Gomez, Loving daughter of Brigido and Flavias, fond sister of Donna and Maria; was a long time resident of the Pilsen community; very active community member; and
WHEREAS, Kathleen Gomez was a teacher for over two decades and most recently taught English as a second language courses at Gage Park High School and William Penn Elementary in North Lawndale;
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Kathleen "Kathy" Gomez to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this thirteen of March 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Kathleen Gomez and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathleen Gomez.
