WHEREAS, Fred'W.' Pauss has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward on September 10, 2018; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Fred W. Pauss - Army Veteran - He is the loving father of JoEllen Taylor, John (Liz), Christine (Robert) Mudd, Joseph (Dee), and the late Angelique "Angel"; dear grandfather of Jeffrey Taylor, Samantha (Ezekiel Sr.) Crossley, Erik Mudd, Katie Pauss, and Sally Pauss; fond great-grandfather of Ezekiel Jr.; brother of Joanne (Donald) Mehring, Jacqueline La Morte, and Beverly (John) Joutras; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Fred W. Pauss to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore'
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth day of September 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Fred W. Pauss and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Fred W. Pauss .
