RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Joseph Mazurkiewicz Sr. to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Mazurkiewicz beloved husband of Angelica Trujillo. Loving father of Joe Jr. (Sam) and stepfather of Monica, Erik Gonzalez and Alexandria Salinas; cherished grandfather of Josephine, Gigi, Desiree, Jualian, Leo and Amaya ;dear son of the late Eugene and Connee Mauzurkiewicz. Joseph Mazurkiewicz leaves a legacy of faith, dignity/compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members cf the Chicago City Council gathered here, this 17^th day of January, 2018, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Joseph Mazurkiewicz and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOIVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Joseph Mazurkiewicz.
