RESOLUTION FOR PETER S. JOHNSON

WHEREAS; in His infinite wisdom, God called Peter S. Johnson, a gentlemen and scholar to his eternal rest; and

WHEREAS, Brother Johnson's selfless service served as a guiding light for his family, his brother of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, and his mentees through the Common Ground Foundation without expecting anything in return. He showed us love, brought joy, and gave us all the lasting gifts of an amazing life and blessed our memories forever; and

WHEREAS, to his parents Mr. Bill and Diane Johnson, his siblings Christopher and Eric Johnson we wish you peace, comfort and encouragement when facing the days ahead. Cherish the love and memories that Peter has shared with us all, and be comforted by the out pouring of love surrounding you; and

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered this 27^th day of January 2020; do hereby express our deepest sympathy to the Johnson family;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of the Resolution of Respect presented to the Johnson family as a sign of our honor, gratitude and respect.
