RESOLUTION HONORING CHICAGO FIRE DEPARTMENT ENGINE 89, TRUCK 56,
AMBULANCE 46
WHEREAS, The Chicago Fire Department Engine 89, Truck 56, Ambulance 46, Second Shift were among the honorees at the Twenty-First Annual Mayfair Salute to American Heroes on November 6, 2022; and
WHEREAS, The men and women ofthe Chicago Fire Department Engine 89, Truck 56, Ambulance 46, Second Shift protect us from their base 4426 North Kedzie Avenue; and
WHEREAS, The motto ofthe Chicago Fire Department is "We're there when you need us." Since 1914, the members ofthe Chicago Fire Department Engine 89, Truck 56, Ambulance 46, have "been there" when the residents of Albany Park, Mayfair, and the surrounding communities have found themselves in times of need; and
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this Fourteenth day of December, 2022, do hereby express our congratulations to The Chicago Fire Department Engine 89, Truck 56, Ambulance 46, Second Shift on this well-deserved honor; and
