RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Dennis C. Kasper to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Dennis C. Kasper was the devoted husband of Nancy (nee Flanagan) for 59 years. Loving father of Kathleen (Norman) Anderson, Michael (Kerry) Kasper, and Daniel CPD (Barbara) Kasper. Proud grandpa of Matthew, Kevin, Brian, Maeve, Sophie, and Charlie; Best friend and brother-in-law of Jim (Sandy) Flanagan. Dear uncle and friend to many. Fondly known as "Doc" to all who knew him. Proud graduate of St. Cajetan 1952, ML Carmel High School 1956, and Lewis University 1960. Longtime active member of the St. Cajetan Athletic Association and Holy Name Society. Proud U.S. Army Veteran; and

WHERAS, Dennis C. Kasper leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this fifteenth day of December, 2021, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Dennis C. Kasper and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Dennis C. Kasper.
