RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, We, the members of the Chicago City Council, wish to extend our congratulations and warmest birthday wishes to Barbara Jean Simmons in honor of her 70^th Birthday; and,

WHEREAS, on behalfof the entire 15^th Ward, Alderman Raymond Lopez would like to extend his personal tribute to Barbara Jean Simmons on the occasion of this momentous occasion as recognition for being a stellar Resident ofthe City of Chicago; and,

WHEREAS, Barbara Jean Simmons has been a member of our 15^th Ward Seniors community for the last five years, a constituency we value and treasure for all they have given and taught us in their collective lifetime; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and Members ofthe Chicago City Council, gathered here this 16th of December, 2020 A.D., do hereby congratulate Barbara Jean Simmons on the occasion of her birthday; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we extend our warmest and heartfelt best wishes to Barbara Jean Simmons for her continued good health, happiness and success following this, her 70^th Birthday; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Barbara Jean Simmons in honor of her 70^th Birthday as a token of our esteem and good wishes.
