WHEREAS, Rochell Vance joined the Essex Inn's housekeeping staff just three years after that hostelry was constructed and opened. In 1995, she was promoted to a housekeeping supervisor; and

BE IT RESOLVED That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council, gathered together on this 11th Day of December, 2013, do hereby salute Rochell Vance on the occasion of her retirement from Chicago's Essex Inn and extend our very best wishes for health, happiness and success in all she endeavors to do in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Rochell Vance.
