RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Amelia Claire "Mia" Wieland to her eternal reward, Monday, June 27, 2011 at the young age of three months old; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Amelia Claire "Mia" Wieland was the loving daughter of David J. and Sarah L. (Badics) Wieland; her brother, Graham Wieland; her maternal grandparents, Jacqueline S. Badics and Frank Johnson of Granger, Indiana; her paternal grandparents, Ted and Mary Wieland of Winthrop, Iowa; her maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Louise Wiltrout of South Bend, Indiana; aunts and uncles, Chris & Erin Wieland, and their daughter, Sofia; Michael & Megan Wieland, and their children, Kale & Brielle, Daniel Wieland, Maresa Wieland, Lauren Wieland, Jack Badics, Richard S. and Elizabeth Badics, and their children, Seth & Kassidy, and David & Brooke Badics and their son, Layne. Mia was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard W. Badics; and her great-grandparents, Harlyn & Alberta Wieland, Kenneth & Teresa Bertch, Richard E. and Litha Badics, and Jack Wiltrout. Mia, a sweet, beautiful and happy baby was deeply loved by her family and everyone who met her. She will be missed very much; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-eighth day of July 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Amelia Claire "Mia" Wieland and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Amelia Claire "Mia" Wieland.
