AMEND - WEIGHT LIMITATION

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1.

Amend ordinance passed 7-11-57, page 5868 which reads W. Ainslie St. from N. Leclaire Ave. to N. Cicero AND ALSO amend ordinance passed 3-22-61, page 4568 which reads W. Ainslie St. from N. Leclaire Ave. to N. Laramie Ave. by striking the above and inserting W. Ainslie St. from N. Cicero Ave. to N. Lipps Ave. -Weight Limitations, 5 Tons, 11-00034797 (02010-7003) (45^th Ward);

SECTION 2.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Traffic Control and Safety, to which were referred (December 8, 2010) proposed ordinances to amend the allowable weight limit for trucks and commercial vehicles on portions of designated streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance submitted herewith.

This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the committee present, with no dissenting votes.
