MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Anthony "Tony" Cusumano, born on May 17, 1949, was called by God to his eternal reward on May 22, 2011; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Anthony "Tony" Cusumano, Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was an active and vital member of his community. The beloved husband of Sue (nee LoPresti); loving father of Donna Niesen; beloved son of Goldie Peter and the late Anthony Cusumano; cherished grandfather of Cody and Danny; loving brother of Helena (Edward) Hester, and James Cusumano; dear brother in law of Paul LoPresti; fond uncle and friend of many; Anthony "Tony" Cusumano leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Anthony "Tony" Cusumano will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this eighth day of June, 2011, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Anthony "Tony" Cusumano and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anthony "Tony" Cusumano.
