RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, We the members of the Chicago City Council would like to extend greetings and congratulations to Dr. Mack McCollum in the recognition of his 50th year church and Pastoral Anniversary at the New Home Missionary Baptist Church located on the west side of Chicago; and
WHEREAS, I, Alderman Emma Mitts, would like to pay tribute to Dr. Mack McCollum on the occasion of this well-deserved honor in recognition of your many years of stellar dedicated and commitment to the Gospel Ministry of Jesus Christ.; and
WHEREAS, A 50th year church and Pastoral Anniversary celebration is a time in which a person celebrates their past and acknowledge their present; with the spirit of love from friends and relatives abound; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Mack McCollum is a meek and yet a valiant man of God, a man at all times oriented towards the service of others; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Mack McCollum is a minister of God who is a friend to the poor, a father to the fatherless; and whenever a wonderful talented and highly capable pastor such as you Rev. Dr. McCollum, crosses one's life path, it is always the right time to give recognition and praise they deserve for their spirit, exemplary level of professionalism, and job well done over many years of service.
WHEREAS, The New Home Missionary Baptist Church has reserved Every Sunday during the month of August 2014 to express their unconditional love and gratitude and to assure unwavering support to one another and most importantly to their spiritual leader during the church's 50th year Celebration;
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council
