RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called John J. Machesky to his eternal reward; and !

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

, dignity, compassion and love; now,

WHEREAS, Age 95, WWII Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia R. (nee Miskovic); Loving father of Dennis (Patti), Sharon (Terrence) Pollard, Joyce Comise, and the Late Marie (Wendell) Ellison; Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 3; Dearest brother, uncle and cousin. John J. Machesky leaves a legacy of faith, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twelfth day of December, 2012, hereby express our
