MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR MICHAELINE REED
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Michaelinc Reed on July 09, 2017 at the age of 64; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39,h Ward; and
WHEREAS, born on January 17, 1953, Michaeline, nee Obartuch was the beloved wife of Wesley DelPrete; dear step-mother of Jennifer (Karen), Summer (Aaron), Wesley III (Candice) and Keith (Cathy); loving sister of Erwin (Ret. CPD, Sgt.), (Col, USA. Ret) (Linda) and the late Richard (Ret. CPD Det) (Cheryle) Obartuch; fond aunt of Jacqueline, Jennifer, Michael, Christian and the late Ricky; special friend of the Helen Koryci Family; and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and
WHEREAS, Michaeline touched the lives of all who knew her through her love and spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this sixth day of September, 2017, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Michaeline Reed; and
