City Council January 15th, 2020

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Bernie Curtin has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 72 to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Bernie Curtin; father of Laura (Rob) Coulton; grandfather of Robby and Izzy; son of the late Bertha and late Bernard Curtin; brother of Mike (Debbie), Bob (Katherine) and the late Billy Curtin; uncle of many; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Berine to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fifteenth of January 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Bernie and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Bemie Curtin.
