MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR MARY JAMES
WHEREAS, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wisdom and Judgment, has called to her eternal reward Mary James, a caring citizen, loving mother, daughter and friend to all; and
WHEREAS, Born On September 15, 1963, Mary James was brought into this world by her loving parents Odell and Theodore James. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member at St. Thaddeus Catholic Church; and
WHEREAS, Mary James graduated from the Academy of Our Lady High School, and furthered her education at Northern Illinois University. Subsequently, she attended Dawson Nursing School where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse; and
WHEREAS, Mary James had an adventurous life and loved helping others in need. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children Jason, Jasmine, and Latoya Young, her sister Lynshea Cranshaw and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable Toni Foulkes, Alderman of the 15th Ward, has informed this august body of the passing of M ary James; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council gathered this 8th Day of May, 2013, do hereby express our sincerest sorrow upon learning ofthe passing of this noteworthy citizen and extend our deepest sympathy to her family and all those whose lives she touched.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That suitable copies of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Mary James.
